To create diagrams, a menu is available in the context menu.

With Modelio, you have the automatic diagrams: http://forge.modelio.org/projects/modelio-user-manual-english-22/wiki/Modeler-_modeler_handy_tools_automatic_diagrams

thanks,

but as far as i understand, modelio supports no activity or sequencial diagram?
how could i display conditional or looping nodes in uml2 right out of the reversing?
class diagram is shown.

hello,
i wrote
<modelio supports no activity or sequencial diagram>
but i mean
the javadesigner supports no activity or sequencial diagram.

Is it correct?
Or otherwise, how could i create them out of the java-code?

Best regards
poul

Hi poul,

The code of a method is reversed as a Java Note, i.e. a stereotyêd UML Comment, owned by the method.

Hoping it is clear.

hello,

thanks for the answer,
but unfortunately it is not clear.
i will try to explain my problem:
the following simple code for example should be generated and displayed as an activity and class diagramm from the Code. therefore i need the plugin javadesigner, right?

public class ElseIf {
public static void main(String[] args) {
int mark = 3;
if (mark == 1)
System.out.println("sehr gut");
else if (mark == 2)
System.out.println("gut");
else if (mark == 3)
System.out.println("befriedigend");
else if (mark == 4)
System.out.println("ausreichend");
else if (mark == 5)
System.out.println("durchgefallen");
else
System.out.println("unsinnige Note: " + mark);
}
}

how could i manage this very simple thing?
if anybody knows that, it would be very kind to describe the steps in detail.

best regards
poul

Hi poul,

With Modelio your code will be reversed (thanks to JavaDesigner )as a class, an operation, a parameter, a comment and that's all...
The body of the method will be reversed as the body of a UML comment owned by the operation (as depicted in my previous message) and not as some behavioural elements .
I never see an industrial tool reversing Java code in activity but if you know one's please tell me :woohoo:.

Hoping it is clear ;).
