question-circle How to make/get link definitions exported?

1 month 2 weeks ago #5418 by craae
I'm new to Modelio so this might be a trivial question.

I have created a UML and an ArchiMate model within a Modelio model project . In the ArchiMate model I have defined a DataObject which I have linked to a UML class object with a dependency relation. (to accomplish a refinement of the ArchiMate DataObject in the UML Class in matters of attributes)

I have afterwards exported both model files (XMI and Model.xml), (setting the Include Modelio annotations) in EMF 3.0 format
But none of the exported files have captured the Dependency Link. How can this be included?
Further how can I define additional properties to ArchiMate Modelling concepts (Created StereoTypes are not exposed for usage within the property Window for the ArchiMate DataObject!)

Dear craae,

XMI import/export features only deal with UML models and not Archimate models that's why an XMI Export will not keep a link between an Archimate element and a UML element.

To add properties to Archimate elements, you can create stereotype(s) as depicted below.

And then apply this (these) stereotype(s) to Archimate element(s)

Hoping it helps.
