file How to use Work Models?

3 years 6 months ago #3877 by wolffborg1
Hi, I've done searches for 'work model' on these forums but haven't found what I'm looking for.

How are Work Model supposed to be used?

Apart from the examples in the help (ie create a new Work Model when you want to try something new without ruining your primary work model), what are some other examples of when you should create additional Work Models?

Hi,

Work Models are mostly intended for teamwork. They are used to partition a project into sub-projects, with user rights management. For example, an analyst work model can be made accessible in read-only mode to a developer.

If you are working solo, work models can be used as test models for example.

Right i think i understand. I could have a stub model to write my test cases too. Or simply define the interfaces in a model that others could reference.
