file [Solved] Name in Action Diagrams

Version 3.1

I would like to name an action on an activity diagram to:
<<continuous>>
coldDirty:H2O
[liquid]

When the activity is initially placed on the activity diagram, the text on the activity is:
:NoBase

To 'rename' the action as above, I right click on it and select rename on the context menu. The text is added but " :NoBase" remains.

What is the correct way to do this?

Hi rayj,

The correct way is to create your "H2O" type in a class diagram for example and then select your activity node, select the element tab and fulfilled the "Type" field with your H2O type.

Hoping it helps.

ebr,

Thank you for the info.

I found the value type and dropped it on the block (SysML) in the diagram, there were not errors.

I have not figured out how to access the value type to provide a value.

What do you mean by "to provide a value" ?

EBR,

Thank you for your continued support. I was too short, I meant to say value property to associate with a value type.

Ok I see your issue now.
So you have to create a "Reference" under a "Block" and then type it with your ValueType in the "Element" tab as depicted below.
