Hi mrsamudio,

We have to configure an environment on the forge so a new language pack can be accessible for all developers.
Can you tell us which language you want to use?

Please note that we can configure it only the next week and we will tell you how to manage the translation.

Hi mrsamudio,

The project is now available on the forge at the following location: Spanish GUI resources .

We are preparing a tutorial explaining how to start working with translation resources.

Hi,

This is the procedure to follow for translating the resources and test it with Modelio:
  1. Create an account on the forge.modelio.org (Let us know when you have an account so we can add you to the Spanish project)
  2. Checkout the resources with SVN. This is the repository address: forge.modelio.org/svn/modelio-localizati.../branches/modelio3.5 . Are you familiar with svn (we can detail this procedure)?
  3. Fill the *_es.properties files. We suggest to use the Eclipse ResourceBundle Editor for managing the translations. Do you need information about using this tool?
  4. Build the translation resources. In order to build these resources, launch a Maven install on AGGREGATOR. This build should produce 2 directories features and plugins in the following directory org.PRODUCTS/target/repository.
  5. Copy and paste the features and plugins folders in your Modelio installation
  6. Finally checkin the resources so we will be able to share these resources with the Modelio community.

If your system is in spanish Modelio should start with the spanish language. If you want to force Modelio to start with spanish language, launch the following command: modelio -nL es

In order to manage translations and builds we suggest to work with Eclipse IDE for Java EE developers (plus Eclipse ResourceBundle Editor) because Maven is directly integrated to IDE and the resoucebundle editor is really practical to use.
If you have questions or need more precisions do not hesitate to let us know :-)
