I have a similar problem to that reported in

in using Modelio 2.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 (with GNOME Classic) running with OpenJDK6.

I noticed that if I double-click on an element too many times or too rapidly, or I use right mouse click too many times on an element (when the first right mouse click does not bring up the menu), Modelio locks up .

I cannot close the application. The only way I could regain control is to kill the process using System Monitor.

Because it is happens so often but randomly I now save the project everytime I add or change something. Not very nice.

Is there a word around on this issue?

Hi,

Regarding the JRE used, did you leave the /jre directory in your Modelio install or did you remove it?
If you didn't touch it, that means your Modelio runs with the 1.7 version of the Oracle JRE.



Also, can you post here the contents of the Modelio "About" box?

I can confirm that I have not removed that jre sub-folder in my modelio program directory.

So does this mean that if I remove (or rename) that directory, Modelio will be using the latest JRE (mine is OpenJDK 7)?

Please post your 'modelioj.log' file here.
You'll find it in /home/.modelio/2.2/

I do not have a /home/.modelio directory because I did not install the modelio. I simply download the ZIP version and then expand it into a folder.

Attached is a copy of /home/.modelioj.log but not sure if it is recording the problem when it froze.

I will wait until I have a freeze next before sending you the log file.

By "/home", I meant /home/user_name

ex: /home/roverone5/.modelio/2.2/modelioj.log

The .modelio folder is created when you first start Modelio.
