Metamodel user guide
Atomic constituent of a model.
In the metamodel, an Element is the top metaclass in the metaclass hierarchy. Element is an abstract metaclass. Every Element of a model is an Element. Elements are structured into Projects that constitute their definition space. Every Element is universally identified in Modelio. An identifier is a 128-bit Modelio generated integer that guarantees the unicity of elements (see RFC 4122). The identifier is assigned at the time of creation, and never changes. Elements in different Projects can have the same identifier. This means that they are identical.
